Neuromodulators

The Nurse Practitioner administers botulinum toxin using a series of tiny injections that  will temporarily block nerve activity in the muscles.  This will then prevent contraction of the muscle which is the cause for wrinkle formation in the skin. Several products are available with different formulations of botulinum toxin.  Products are chosen based on you unique needs and treatment goals at the time of consultation. These products are safe and effective for the treatment of moderate to severe rhytids (wrinkles).   Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed, however the goal is to help soften the appearance of wrinkles without completely stopping muscle movements or facial expression.

Using The Eclipse MicroPen® EVO  a collagen stimulating device approved by Health Canada, the Nurse Practitioner administers a treatment which will stimulate the body's natural healing response.  This will bring collagen to the surface of the skin and enhance the skin's elasticity to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and give your skin a smooth more youthful appearance. This treatment can also help reduce the appearance of acne and wound scars.  Microneedling is also an excellent way to improve tone, texture and colour of the skin!   3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended for best results.

Micotox or skintox is a technique which uses a more dilute botulinum toxin in micro doses to soften fine lines in desired areas.  The goal is a result of smoother, less crepe look to the skin. 

This is a great treatment for the crows, under eyes, neck and decollete.  This can also be applied to reduce and control acne and the appearance of pore size.  A consultation is required prior to ensure this technique is right for you.

Platelet rich plasma or "PRP" is a medical procedure which draws your own blood to harness a component that contains proteins which support cell growth.  When this blood component (liquid gold) is isolated and applied to a specific treatment area, cell growth, healing and collagen production are stimulated. Areas which can be treated are the scalp to encourage hair regrowth, under eyes to correct dark circle and sagginess. Deoxycholic Acid is a naturally occurring substance in our body which breaks down fat cells permanently.  When injected into areas such as the submental ie: underchin or double chin, fat cells are broken down and cleared away by the body's own natural processes.  The result is a more contoured, slim facial profile.  There is very little down time with this procedure which is permanent and well tolerated.  Individual results vary and 2-3 or more treatments may be required for best results. $300/treatment, (requires a $100 deposit prior to treatment)

Lip Fillers are performed by the Nurse Practitioner by injection dermal filler to create fuller, softer, hydrated lips.  As we age lips may become thinner, less volume and appear dehydrated.  Lip fillers can help correct.  Our goal is to work with your natural lip shape to improve the appearance of fullness and hydration of the lips as well as correcting any subtle asymmetries. A full consultation will take place prior to the treatment to discuss your concerns and goals you wish to achieve.

This is the ultimate glow up facial! We use a variety of products targeted at your unique needs.  Injectable grade hyaluronic acid, antioxidant serums, PRP, neuromodulators can all work together to give you the ultimate customized facial that treats common skin conditions like acne/rosacea to fine lines and wrinkles. This serum is delivered using a microneedling technique called "stamping" to get your unique serum blend where it will be most effective at correcting and treating.
