The Nurse Practitioner administers botulinum toxin using a series of tiny injections that  will temporarily block nerve activity in the muscles.  This will then prevent contraction of the muscle which is the cause for wrinkle formation in the skin. Several products are available with different formulations of botulinum toxin.  Products are chosen based on you unique needs and treatment goals at the time of consultation. These products are safe and effective for the treatment of moderate to severe rhytids (wrinkles).   Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed, however the goal is to help soften the appearance of wrinkles without completely stopping muscle movements or facial expression.

Using The Eclipse MicroPen® EVO  a collagen stimulating device approved by Health Canada, the Nurse Practitioner administers a treatment which will stimulate the body's natural healing response.  This will bring collagen to the surface of the skin and enhance the skin's elasticity to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and give your skin a smooth more youthful appearance. This treatment can also help reduce the appearance of acne and wound scars.  Microneedling is also an excellent way to improve tone, texture and colour of the skin!   3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended for best results.
