Healthy women and men age 18 and over are eligible for neuromodulator treatments. People with certain neurological conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should not have treatments. A thorough medical history is taken prior to administering any treatments.
Before coming in for a treatment you should be in good health. You should not be planning to engage in any vigorous activity for 24hrs, be prepared to stay upright for 3-4 Hours and not apply makeup for a few hours after. It is recommended that you do not drink alcohol or take certain anti inflammatory medication within a few days of receiving a treatment. This will be discussed in detail prior to the treatment to ensure it is safe to proceed.
There is no downtime after treatments, and they are virtually painless. You may resume your normal routine, as long as it does not include any of the previous mentioned activities. Follow up care is recommended two weeks later and if any concerns. We will review your results and make adjustments if needed. Additional after care instructions will be provided at the time of your appointment.
Microneedling is done by creating microchannels on the surface of the skin with tiny sterile needles. The area is first treated with a topical numbing cream to make the procedure almost painless. Following this a serum of hyaluronic acid is applied to assist with a smooth glide of the device and also to enhance moisture in the skin. The device is then run across the area several times to stimulate the bodies collagen production. You do not need to bleed for the treatment to be effective!
Almost any adult is eligible for a treatment! If you are prone to keloid scaring, have certain chronic conditions we do not recommend this treatment. A thorough health history if reviewed at your consultation prior to initiating treatment.
Results of any treatment vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. However, most people notice an improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, reduced skin sagging, smaller pores, more even skin tone and faded scaring. Most patients notice results after one treatment, however it is recommended that you undergo 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve the maximum benefit.

Microtox treatments work by using diluted neuromodulator (tox) in micro-doses just beneath the skin. The same principles of using neuromodulator to weaken the muscle applies to the skin. It creates a more smoother, less crepe look to the skin, therefore softening fine lines. The procedure down time and recovery is the same as when neuromodulators are used to weaken the muscles in areas like the glabella. The difference with microtox is that the tiny doses are spread across the area being treated and therefore the skin is pricked many times, similar to a microneedling treatment. For this reason a topical numbing cream is applied or lidocaine (freezing) will be mixed in with the neuromodulator to minimize pain. The use of this technique is very effective in areas such as the crows feet, neck and décolleté where the effects of large doses of neuromodulator may not be desired. Careful assessment at your consultation will take place and this treatment may be recommended for you depending on your desired results. Pricing varies depending on area treated.
Dermal Fillers are made with Hyaluronic Acid, which is a safe and naturally occurring substance in the skin. Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin retain moisture, and creates softness, which can also create volume. The Hyaluronic acid is crosslinked in a way that prevents the body from absorbing the product right away to give you longer lasting results. Lip fillers will last approximately 6-12 months, as our lips are constantly in use for speaking, eating, drinking ect therefore filler is absorbed faster in this area than when applied to other areas of the face. Should you require, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved immediately or at a later date. Your provider has protocols in place to provide this as required. Starting at $450/syringe
Consultation will take place prior to treatment to discuss your goals and assess your lips to determine how to achieve this. You will receive a topical numbing cream to reduce your discomfort which takes about 20-30 minutes to take effect. Filler is then injected in tiny amounts followed by massage and shaping to achieve your desired results. You will see results immediately! It is common to have swelling and bruising after the injections so it is important to use the topical lip balm provided as well as icing after the treatment. You may also receive neuromodulators (tox) or filler in other areas at the same treatment. Adding a "lip flip" tox treatment is a great way to maximize the longevity of your lip filler!
Your treatment will take about 30-45 minutes.
Lip Fillers cannot be performed if you have a cold sore. If you are prone to getting cold sores, we can prescribe a prophylactic oral treatment to prevent and out break after your dermal filler is injected. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you cannot have Lip Filler treatments. If you have dental work planned you will need to wait 2-4 weeks to have your dermal filler. Important Information about the COVID-19 Vaccine. It is recommended that you do not receive dermal filler 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your COVID-19 vaccine.
To minimize bruising, please avoid alcohol and NSAIDS (advil, motrin, aleve) and certain herbal supplements before your injections. Refrain from gym workouts for 24 hours and avoid excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 1 week after your treatment. Consider any upcoming events and book lip fillers at least two weeks prior to these events. These will be discussed in detail at your consultation prior to proceeding with the treatment.
You can expect bruising and swelling after this treatment. It is recommended that you apply ice for 10-15min at a time frequently to minimize swelling. A lip balm will be provided to help with swelling and keep the lips conditioned. Avoiding alcohol, NSAIDS and excessive heat and workouts after treatment as mentioned above will help reduce swelling and bruising as well and ensure your lip filler settles as desired. Massage of the filler a few days after treatment is recommended to help settle product. At your two week follow after photos will be taken and assessment of your final result will take place. Detailed after care instructions will be discussed and provided at your treatment appointment as well as contact information of your provider for any questions or concerns that arise.

The substance is compounded and mixed with saline and lidocaine (freezing) then injected into the subcutaneous fat in stubborn areas were fat loss from diet and exercise is not always effective. When fat is dissolved from this area the jaw line is accentuated giving you a more contoured appearance. generally 3-6 treatments are needed 6 weeks apart to achieve desired results.
